We welcome two very special guests to Bainbridge Gardens this month.  Gardening expert Ed Hume will discuss use of foliage color in the garden on Saturday, March 1 and bee expert Lisa Novich of Knox Cellars will explore the fascinating world of Orchard Mason Bee on Sunday, March 2.

11  Early Spring is the time to plant small fruits & veggies, — blueberries, raspberries, rhubarb, asparagus, Walla Walla onions, and potatoes.             
        
 
13  Make a living Easter basket in our festive workshop Sunday.   Bring in or purchase a basket, then fill it with moss or grass and then choose from our wide variety of silk or live blooms, Easter adornments, stuffed animals, & eggs.  More details in class descriptions.

We are closed.

Expecting a baby?  We will provide a free Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir,  or Hemlock to the family of each child born in 2008 to Bainbridge Island parents.  Ask about  the “Reforest America” program, funded by a generous Bainbridge Islander.

will highlight a number of trees, shrubs and vines that deserve more use in our gardens.
