Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday

Mother’s Day is May 11th.  Bring your Mom in to celebrate her
special day.

Summer flowers in vivid colors,  fresh veggies and herbs  are arriving almost daily now.

We have containers  and hanging baskets overflowing with color, ready to go home with you.

2  Grow edible
flowers—calendula, lavender, pansies and nasturtiums.  Pretty in the garden and in a salad.

4   Plant your summer bulbs now.  It’s time to set out gladiolas, dahlias, and lilies.

6  Culinary herbs add so much to a meal and are drought-tolerant in the garden once established.            8 Rhododendrons are showing their color .  Choose from creamy yellows & apricots to pinks, purples & reds.        10  Showy hydrangeas are here in pink, white and the very popular
blue blooms.
11  Mother’s Day    12  Tomatoes are here.   We have 60 varieties.  Plant a tried-and-true winner or try something new.  Window Box Roma is perfect for a small space, Costoluto
Genovese is an Italian heirloom,  Red and Yellow Currant provides masses of tiny fruit.

colored tomato cages to support tomatoes or peonies and other vines.

16  Home-grown salad greens, sweet and hot peppers, corn, cukes & beans make memorable summer meals.

18 Soil Soup those roses, as well as peonies, phlox, and anything that tend to have foliage problems.

19  Patio furniture is here, just in time for outdoor entertaining.          21  Choose a metal bistro set to accent a corner of the deck or garden. 22  Our handsome cedar furniture comes in many
styles for relaxing in the backyard or seating the family.
23  New this season: hardy teak chairs, benches, tables and even a daybed with comfortable weather resistant cushions.  Available in a variety of finishes and fabrics.

26  We’re open
Memorial Day.

27  Get the good bugs to take care of the bad ones for you.  We have ladybugs, praying mantises and beneficial nematodes. 28  Put a few
Mosquito Bits in your bird baths to keep the mosquito larvae away . They’re safe for birds & pets.
