All classes have a $5.00 tuition fee, unless stated otherwise
(materials fees are not always included in class fees). Pre-registration
is required for all classes; you may phone or make your reservation in person.
Tuition fee must be pre-paid to guarantee your spot. Class space may be
limited.
Call 206-842-5888 to register. Please check in at the main desk on day of

One
of the enjoyable elements of celebrating an anniversary is reminiscing with you.
Our customers and neighbors are part of our big Island family. You’ve supported
us and helped us grow. Maybe you remember when our nursery and florist were in
the "Village" along Highway 305, or in the middle of Winslow Way or in our tiny
first shop next to Town and Country Market. Perhaps you remember visits to
Bainbridge Gardens before WWII when you would enjoy a treat at the general store
and stroll through the gardens.

We invite you to join us for a celebration of Island Center
history. The Bainbridge Island Historical Society is honoring the history of the
Island Center community through an event called "Snapshots of Island Center."
This old-fashioned social will Feature the photographs, stories and
memories shared by past and present Island Center families. The open house will
be held at Bainbridge Gardens on Sunday, August 17th
from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Refreshments will be
served.
If you are an Island Center family, we encourage you to participate
in this event by bringing your photographs and stories. Contact the Bainbridge
Island Historical Society at outreach@bainbridgehistory.org or 842-2773. You
also may contact Bainbridge Gardens for more info. If you’re fascinated with our
Island’s history and folklore, we hope you’ll save the date to join us Sunday,
August 17th.

WIN A PRIZE
As part of our 50th Anniversary Celebration, we will be
giving away 50 door prizes, starting in May.
Come in and fill out an entry form. (Sorry, no entries will
be accepted online or by phone.) No purchase necessary. One
entry per household. One entry per day. Winners will be drawn at
random twice a week.
Our prizes include free Soil Soup, planting compost and prizes
generously donated by our suppliers and company representatives such as huge
and handsome pots, clocks, ceramic and glass tableware, toys, and more. A
copy of the complete rules is available along with the entry forms in the
