2  Pop in some fresh
fall color to perk up
tired-looking summer containers.  Come in to see what’s arrived.

4  Tulips, daffodils, crocus and other spring flowering bulbs arrive this month.  Among our selection this year: several varieties of deer-resistant dwarf narcissus, fragrant muscari, feathery camassia, saffron crocus and a peppermint-colored blend of tulips.

7  Winter vegetable starts are here. Plant broccoli,
cabbage, lettuce, spinach, leeks
and chard.
Fall’s fiery colors bring new drama to the garden.  Let us help you choose a shrub or tree that will thrive in the right spot. For edible and ornamental color, try blueberries.  You’ll have tasty berries in the late summer and red, orange and golden  foliage in the fall. 11  Refresh weary plants with freshly brewed compost tea.  SoilSoup is
available daily.
