GROW A BUTTERFLY EVENT

Every year we bring some live Painted Lady caterpillars and growing kits for our customers to experience the metamorphosis process. Yes, these caterpillars will turn into Painted lady butterflies!

Note that the first batch of caterpillars are already here and we have a few left.

The next batch will be ready to pick up starting July 19th, so reserve yours by calling us or coming in.

Learn about butterflies and the important role pollinators play in the garden. Each kit includes two Painted Lady caterpillars, habitat, activity book, and instruction. $15.

Please note that butterflies take approximately three weeks to emerge.

Although this activity is geared toward kids, plenty of adults enjoy this too. City dwellers can watch the caterpillars turn into butterflies and then release them in a city park.
